Shipping and handling (S&H) is shown on your delivery invoice as single entry.

Shipping

The cost charged by a common carrier, such as UPS and the United States Postal Service, for delivering your order to you. We currently ship Priority Mail to all U.S. addresses and Global Express Mail to all International addresses, unless specifically instructed otherwise. Both of these services provide insurance and either Delivery Confirmation or Tracking online.

Handling

The cost of preparing your order for shipment including boxes, tape, packing material, labels, labor to assemble the box, pack the order, secure the box, label it, prepare insurance forms, delivery forms, multipart NAFTA forms and customs forms, and file the necessary paperwork, plus the cost to deliver it to the carrier. Our charge for this has averaged about $4.85 per order since opening in May of 2000, regardless of order size. This charge is added to the cost of shipping and printed on your invoice under S&H.

Insurance

The cost charged by a common carrier to insure safe delivery of your order to you in good condition. The insurance charge is determined by the carrier and is included with every order.

If your order is damaged you should notify the carrier immediately upon receipt of the order making the delivery person aware of the damage. If you do not receive your order timely, contact the carrier to trace the order. If you should need to file a claim with the carrier, be aware that the carrier's insurance may take 30 to 60 days or longer to pay your claim. Typically any such carrier will: perform an investigation into the facts of the matter; attempt to locate your order; and try to determine the cause and extent of any damage.

HealingYou.org has no control over the carrier's insurance nor their conduct.

Privacy

The information we request on our order form is used for billing purposes and to fill your order. If we have trouble processing your order, the contact information is used to get in touch with you. On our payment page you'll see a lock indicating your credit card information is being protected using SSL encryption technology.

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company (Captain Cook's) to process payments for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store nor use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. For further information see our privacy policy.

We may change shippers periodically depending on delivery schedules, performance and cost-effectiveness.
